Anyone out there have any type of information that might help me...been on a dead end track on my own...everywhere records come back empty.... my mom adopted mom passed away with out giving me any answers.(dad died when I was 8) I was just wondering if I have any faimly out there..........
my birth date is oct. 30, 1961- the records from surrogate's court county of westchester - new york show that my adopted parent's- john and anita b adopted me on the 5th day of april, 1963- the name on the petition states "Joseph Nickolas Martin".The adoption was out of the new york foundling hospital by Agnes Blaine ( known in religion as sister Marie Catharine)
i would also be interested in birth father, any relatives, e.g. siblings, uncles, aunts, etc. and i would like to access all health records and any related geneologically pertinent information
I know my birhtmother was 20 years old...lost her mother in dec 1961 and was forced to sign me over to be adopted ...I was born 1 mth (weight was 5 lbs) premature and spent time in hospital before I was taken to New Foundling Hospital...if any of this sounds familiar to you please contact me.......thanks so much |
