I am searching for my BM and BF. I was born 6-9-51 in Teaneck, NJ. My BM's name is Constance Van Kempen and she was 16 and unmarried when she had me. I was given up to the Bergen County Welfare Dept on 6-14. BF was listed as unknown on my adoption papers. My adoption was finalized at the Hackensack County Courthouse on .The lawyer that my BP's used was Gordon Haviland Brown(deceased) and the Judge was Herman Vanderwart.(deceased) In 1976 Constance's family was still living in Teaneck, but by 1986 all Van Kempen families seemed to have moved out of Teaneck. I have no other info on her or her family. I tried to get my NON-ID info from Bergen County, but was told that ALL records are sealed including NON-ID info. Now my only recourse for this info is to file a motion to unseal my records.
