BAUDE - I am searching for my father's siblings that were born to Harold F. Baude b.1902 in Berrien Springs, MI and Margaret L. Brown, b.1903. The children's names are; Arthur Baude, Mildred Baude and Ruth Baude. These children may have been taken to the St. Joseph Orphanage in Mishawaka/South Bend, IN in 1945 as a result of a divorce and adopted out from there. All three of these children were born in Benton Harbor/Berrien Springs, MI. We have located three brothers already: Charles Baude b.1940, Harold Baude b.1937 and Gerald Baude b. 1933. These children would be Caucasian. The mother; Margaret Brown Baude remarried to a man by the name of John C. Bugher and they lived in Shepardsville, IN until their death in the early 1970s. Some of the missing children may have been adopted by Mr. Bugher. Any help in locating these individuals would be greatly appreciated as we are desperate in obtaining medical histories from them due to serious medical conditions within the family.
UPDATE 4/17/2008: CHARLES BAUDE HAS BEEN FOUND!
UPDATE 4/28/2008: We have received information that RUTH BAUDE resided in the Canton/Toledo Ohio area in the 1950s and was born between 1923-1929. Also have received information that MILDRED (BAUDE) was born in 1922/1923 and had a different father than Harold Baude. UPDATE: 5/7/08 We have learned there is another brother by the birth name of Darwin Edison Baude, born in February 1944 in Toledo, Ohio and adopted out of Berrien County, MI in later 1944. |
