I am searching for my birth mother. Her name is Harriet Simmons, she was born around 1931-1932. My non-certified birth certificate lists her place of birth as Chicago Illinois. Harriet is of English Irish, Norwegian and German backround. She had 2yrs of college and worked as a secretary and later as a director of a Recreation Programming for young people. She is/was 5'6" and had brown eyes and hair and a fair complexion. Harriet's parents had some college education. Her father managed a small cattle-ranch before retiring. My background summary from the adoption agency indicates that she was raised in Omaha Nebraska but later moved with her parents to San Jose California. I was born on May 8 1959 in Boston Massachusetts, and adopted through Boston Children's Service now known as Home for Little Wanderers. |
