Trying to help my sister in law find her birth mother. She was born 5 June 1971 at a small clinic in Ripley, Tennessee. Her birth mother's name may be Ruth Burke. Family cannot remember exactly. Birth mother lived with adoptive family several months before the birth. Their surname was Smith. They lived in Munford, TN. Birth mother left immediately after the birth and was never heard from again. She was believed to be from Mississippi. The birth father may have been in the military stationed at the naval base in Millington, TN. Adoptee has brown hair, hazel eyes and is about 5'3. |
