i am searching for my son, who was born on October 31,1986. I was 15 at the time I got pregnant, and 16 at the time my son was born. My parents had put me in a home for unwed mothers, in Allison Park Pa. Throughout my pregnancy i had lived there. My parents had an adoption agency take care of the adoption proceedings. The Childrens Home Of Pittsburgh. I had contacted the agency when Kevin Anthony(name at birth).He was born at West Penn Hosptial, His Doctor who delivered him was Dr.Levinson. I contacted the Childrens Home of Pgh. when he turned 18 yrs of age. They were able to contact the parents, and let them know I was looking for him, they responded and said that he had just started college and he was in a private university, and he was having a hard time, adjusting to being away from home, and they would let him know when they had felt the time was right. Myself and his biological father emailed a letter to the agency, and she then forwarded it to the parents. It has now been, 3 1/2 years since his 18th birthday, and I still have not yet heard anything from him. I just want to be able to contact him, and be able to speak with him, and know how his life was and is now. Not a day passes that I don't think about him. I didn't have a choice at the time, to do anything, but give him a life, and let someone be able to take care of him, and love him,someone that wasn't able bare children themselves. I am not trying to push all the blame on my parents, but I didn't have a choice, they never gave me one. |
