To R.M. of Guilford Co, NC: We are looking for the birth mother of twin boys born on 20 July 1959 in Charleston, SC but given up for adoption in Greensboro, NC. She may have named them Paul and Perry. Through diligent effort by the family, a social worker has made contact with her, & the young men have received non-identifying information. Unfortunately, she wants no contact with them at this time. This has devastated them, of course, and they continue to hope she will change her mind. These fine men have lost their adoptive parents in the last ten years, and the need to make a connection with the woman who gave them birth is powerful. They both are successful, well-adjusted, respectful men with wives, children, homes and jobs. We urge you to re-consider. Please help them find closure.
