J am looking for my mother that had a baby girl on March 11, 1955 in Jacksonville, FL in Duval Co. I was told that I was born at Baptist Memorial Hosp. and was premature. From there I would go to the Childrens Home Society where I would remain until October 11, 1955 when Joseph and Betty Hatfield would adopt me and give me the name Andrea Lacey Hatfield. I found no record of my adoption ever been filed or finalized, have found one more B/C with another birth date and year, but I lrgally go by 3-11-55. Other than my adoptive parents names on my B/C pertinate names are names from the CHS. Adoptive parents never told me anything when I asked, only that I had my fathers eyes and I looked like my mother. Adoptive parents are deceased. If any family mebers know anything please help me I have searching for years. |
