Searching for birth parents. I am a female born May 27, 1961 around 6 am. I think it was Boston Women's & Children's Hospital (or Boston Lying-In????). I was adopted at age 5 months through the Jewish Family and Children's Services in Brookline and believe I was in a foster home between birth and adoption. My birth mother was 22 at the time, Jewish of Eastern European background, a college graduate, and from the mid-west and my birth-grandmother was a social worker. My birth mother was about 5 foot 10 inches, slim, dark hair, fair complexion. She never identified my birth father to the adoption agency but said he was age 27, 5 foot 10 inches also, Protestant, of French/English origin, a lawyer by profession. She told the agency that both her father and my birth father's father had died young of heart disease and that my birthfather had malaria during the Korean War.
