I'm looking for my birth mother.My family told me she was called herself Kalahnee.I did some research at social security and the papers said her name was Ramona Menendez.They said she had dark hair but died it blonde.She had green eyes.She was very petite and thin.She was from Lousianna.They say her parents and family are still there.I'm told I have an older half sister whom I've never met...that the state took her away and gave her to my mothers parents.My mother then married my father,had me and then left me with him.Eventually my fathers sister (My aunt )took me and adopted me.My aunt said my birth mother called a few times and then disappeared.I was born in 1978 in New Orleans.My parents were married at my paternal grandparents house in Port Charlotte Florida between 1977-1979.I was adopted in Alexandria Virginia around 1986.My initials are still M.W.Any information would be wonderful as I am new to this.Thank you!
