I am looking for my birth mother.I was born on the 19/02/1981(I am not sure if this is my actual birthday or has it been changed),I was named Brian I'm not sure was this from my birth or adoptive mother, I have black hair and green eyes.I don't have much information about the adoption itself all I really know is that my birth mother was very young when I was born and had no real choice in the adoption. My adopted mother was named Breda O' Halloran nee O' Donavan whom sadly passed away in 1985. I also know that my birth mother was in regular contact with the social worker involved in the adoption and gave them a letter to give to my adopted mother. I have not recieved this letter as it was given to my grandmother to give to me when I got older she passed away in 2002, I dont understand why she didn't hand it over but she was very protective and probably worried in what could happen- I dont know. I was six months old when I was handed to my adoptive parents in Cork. If anybody has any information I would be very grateful. Thank you |
