Claire LaVerne Darrow born March 3, abt 1938. The date is correct, the yr may be 2 yrs -. My mother was born in Helena, adopted at birth, certificate indicates birth parents were LaVerne and Douglas Darrow of Missoula. Suspect her mother was a woman named Claire Lena or Lean, but that is family speculation from old correspondence between GGM and elder Claire where it appears Claire is overly concerned with the development of my mother, Claire LaVerne Darrow.
