I am searching for my birthmother. I am 33 years old, born on 17 Dec 1974 at 12:17 PM at Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. My adoption was handled by Volunteers of America.
I am 6 feet tall, have auburn hair, grayish blue eyes, and weigh in at about 190 lbs. I am aware through VOA that my birthmother was going into nursing and that she enjoys classical music and horseback riding - just like me. She was Episcopalian and was described as a "non-conformist". Her family was Baptist. Her parents kept her pregnancy a secret from the rest of the family, but were supportive.
She and my birthfather, a pre-law student, were together for approximately 4 months, and they broke up before my birthmother realized that she was pregnant. He was not told of the pregnancy. He was methodist.
