I am Amanda Vance and I am searching for my brother that was adopted out of Mt.Pleasant MI (Isabella County). His birth name is Shannon lee James Barker but we always called him James. He was born on 9-12-1990 in Greenville MI. He was taken from the home when he was 2 1/2 and his birth mother had visits with him up to the time he was adopted in 1994-1996 . Our Aunt Renee was fostering James for a few months before the finial adoption took place. James has 5 siblings, 2 sisters (Amy and Amanda) 3 brothers (Chad,Justin and Cody). Cody was born on 9-07-1995 he is believed to have been adopted by the same family but not exactly sure. I also believe james was adopted by a family that lived in Shepherd MI. James used to tell his birth mother all about the farm animals when they had their visits.(before the adoption took place) After Cody was born they used to have shared visits with their birth mother. We want to find our brother. We have been waiting for several years to start this search. If anyone has any information please let me know. The mothers name is Denise Siekierk/Beebee. I am posting a picture of James which was taken the last time we saw him. We really miss him and want to reunite. |
