I was born in Los Angeles and adopted in 1927. I found my birth mother in 1977, but am seeking information about my birth father who went by the nickname of Shorty. He drove a truck for his brother, Ray Taylor, who owned a carpet cleaning and repair shop in the Broyle Heights district of LA in 1927. Shorty Taylor was 19 years old at the time.
