I was born in Los Angeles, Ca on May 13, 1957. My birth parents named me Debra Ann Stevenson. My birth parents were unmarried and from Ohio. The birth mother was sent to Los Angeles to have the baby, the birth father followed and was present at the birth. He wrote a letter to the social worker telling of his being torn about the decision but wanted to do what was best. It was stated in the records that the couple was possibly married a few years later. This couple was believed to work together at the train yards or shipping yards somewhere in Ohio.I was considered a handicapped baby at birth but was later found to have no handicap and was adopted to a wonderful family when I was 9 months old. Looking for any information, just curious. |
