My name is SHAWNEE IRENE HAYWARD. I was born March 19, 1992 in Barrie, Ontario at 10:54 am in Royal Victoria Hospital, delivered by Dr. Weatherston. I was adopted when I was 8 days old(March 27, 1992) through Children's Aid Society. My name was changed from ANDREA RENEE by my adoptive parents LORRAINE & RICHARD HAYWARD. I do not know my last name but believe that either my birth mother or father's last name started with W. I used to live in Borden, Ontario then we moved to British Columbia then moved back to London, Ontario where we lost contact of my birth family. We then moved to Ailsa Craig, Ontario and now reside in London, Ontario once more. I am searching for my birth family. Her name was MICHELE. My mother had dropped out of high school with a grade eleven education but was thinking of going back, had dark brown hair, an oval shaped face and blue eyes. She was twenty-two years old at my birth and she was about 5'9". She was of Protestant faith. Her father and her mother were divorced and both were still living at the time. She would be about THIRTY-SEVEN OR THIRTY-EIGHT YEARS OLD AT THIS TIME. My birth father was a teenager in grade eleven in high school, sixteen to be exact. His name was LEE but I have no idea if it's spelt traditionally or differently. He had blue eyes, was 6'3", and wore glasses for a lazy eye or stigmatism. He smoked about a pack of cigarettes a day. He had two sisters, one of which had serious problems with her pituitary gland. His father had died of throat and lung cancer and was a heavy smoker. He hoped to be a cabinet maker later in life and possibly own his own business. At my birth, my birth mother was said to have remarked that I looked at lot like him. He did not wish to give my adoptive parents a picture of him. Reason for this is unknown. He would be ABOUT THIRTY-ONE TO THIRTY-THREE YEARS OLD AT THIS TIME. My half brothers are named ROBERT and ALEXANDER. Both were born by Caesarian section. Robert is about two or three years older than me (BORN IN APRIL 1989) and Alexander is about one or two years older than me (BORN IN NOVEMBER 1990). Robert has had many ear infections at the time of my birth. And Alexander had bronchial problems at the time of my birth. My adoptive family lost contact with them when I was much younger. The last thing sent to us was a small note with two pictures of my half brothers from my birth mother. THE DATE ON THIS LETTER WAS FROM DECEMBER 16, 1996. At this point, Robert was seven and a half and Alexander was six. It was only signed by my mother Michele unlike another letter from when I much younger (only a few months old; dated JULY 1992) was signed Michele and Lee. In the provided picture, MICHELE (my mother) is in the top picture (taken in May of 1992), ALEXANDER is in the bottom left (taken at age 6 in October of 1996), and ROBERT is in the bottom right (taken at age 7 and a half in October of 1996.) These are the most recent pictures I have of any of my biological family.
