I am a female adoptee, born June 1, 1989 in at Hendrick Hospital in Abilene, Texas. I am looking for my birth mother. My birth mother was helicoptered in to the hospital right before I was born, so I think she lived fairly close to Abilene, but not in Abilene. Her family and my birthfather were very supportive of the adoption. He may be named on my birth certificate as he did sign his parental rights away after I was born. I was adopted into a great family through Christian Homes of Abilene and I have had a good life. I just wonder about my birth mother. I and my parents love her and pray for her and are glad she was strong enough to let me be adopted. |
