I am searching for my son born December 4, 1972. My name at the time was Joan Carol Lloyd and his father's name was John Eugene Fincher. We were both college students at Gardner-Webb College at the time. My son weighed 8 lbs 8 ozs, and the Children's Home Agency in Greensboro handled the adoption. He was born at the Cleveland County Hospital in Shelby, NC around 5 AM in the morning. His father died as a result of injuries from a car acciden when he was 27 years old. I had contacted the agency at that time to tell them that my son's father had kidney failure which caused his organs to shut down. I wanted the agency to know where I was in case my son ever had problems with his kidneys and needed me as his birth mother to donate one. I want to find my son, reunite with him, and him with my family, his Grandmother who lives in Salisbury, NC and my sister and her family. My son has two half brothers that I want him to meet. I want to find my son and stay in touch with him, including him in my family for the rest of my life. |
