I am searching for my Mothers birth parents, or any biological family members that might know something. My Mom was born on March 28th, 1953 at Bloomsburg Hospital in Columbia County, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. There was very little information given regarding her birth mother, but it is believed the birth mothers last name might have been Thomas. My Mom was delivered by a Dr. Jacob Gluchoff or Gluchoffsky, not sure exactly of the Drs last name, but it was definitely one of those two. He was a personal friend of her soon to be adoptive parents, and she was given up for adoption immediately. She was only 2 days old when taken home by her adoptive family. As a child she had platinum blonde hair, green eyes. As an adult she was 5'6 or 5'7, her hair became a darker blonde, though the green eyes turned a little hazel, she was pale skinned. I am desperate to find my biological birth family, so I know where I came from, so I can learn medical history and genealogical history, so I know what I am passing to my children, and so I can fulfill her life long dream of knowing who she was. Sadly, my mother passed away recently, so this is more important to me than ever. The attached photo is of my mother in her High School Graduation picture. She was 17 years old in the picture.
