I am searching for my birth parents and any other birth family. I understand there is the possibility of multiple siblings. I am a male, born 10-25-1971 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville Ohio and was adopted through Catholic Social Services/Charities. I was in foster care for the first few months and adopted at 6 months old. According to the non-identifying information I received from Catholic Social Services/Charities, my birth mother was caucasian, and the doctors believed me to be bi-racial. She denied this. Clearly though I am bi-racial of some sort. She reported being divorced at the time of my birth, and married when I was conceived. It is unclear whether her husband at the time would be my birth father. I have two possible last names for my birth mother -- Beverly Jean Brooks and/or Beverly Jean Saunders. The court paperwork from NJ where I was ultimately placed indicates my name before adoption was Baby Boy Brooks. The non-identifying from Catholic Services indicates there may be several siblings, some of which were in state care. There was a boy and a girl close to my age (1-2 yrs older than I), and my birth mother had them in her care. When the social worker tried to contact my birth mother and her family 1-2 weeks after my birth, the landlord indicated the family had moved and left no forwarding address.
