I was born Teresa Marian McSweeney in Dublin, on 3/26/54, baptised at Pro-Cathedral 3/30/54. Mother's name given as Mary McSweeney. Research lead to my birth certificate, listing Mother as Mary Dawnay McSweeney, widow. Research showed Mary McSweeney was the widow of Edmund McSweeney, a Dublin guarda. (Edmund had been gone quite a few years before my birth) She had at least four other births (two stillborn). There are two children listed as live births: Daniel McSweeney, born 1935, and Mary McSweeney, born 1939. I believe these individuals are my half brother and sister. I believe that Dan McSweeney retired from the Dublin Garda. (like father, like son, I guess!) I would be very pleased to make contact with them, if they are all right with that.
