I am searching for my birth parents, I was born in Cape Town, in the Mowbray Maternity home on the 1st November 1957. My birth mother lived in a hostel for unmarried mothers before I was born and she came from Seapoint, I belive she was Afrikaans speaking. I know nothing about my father. I have been told my mother came from a very good family, that has been a comfort to me. I would love to make contact, but understand if she or he are not willing, but I would like some answers to questions if possible, I am artistic and musical and I love cooking. I am now 50 years old, married for 24 years and I have a 20 year old daughter. Any info would be much appreciated. My adoption was arranged by the ACVV, and Merilda Droskey - new sadly deceased |
