I am searching for information on my birth mother, Francis or Frances Louise Carpenter, who gave birth to me on January 18, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the next door neighbor to Edith and Hubert Moore, on Midland Street in Grove City, OH, and left me with them shortly after my birth. There was a private adoption signed by a judge and private attorney when I was five. I was originally named Lonnie Dale Carpenter, and my adoptive parents changed my last name to Moore. I do not know my birth father's name, and it was not listed in the adoption papers. Frances might have been a nurse, and she might have been married to a man nicknamed "Bud".There is also a possibility that I was a twin or had a brother close in age. It was also rumored that I had a grandmother from the New Mexico area that was Apache. Frances' family of origin might also be from West Virginia or Kentucky. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
