I am searching for my father's daughter that was born when he was around 16, which would have made her year of birth around 1981. His name was James Clyde Flannery and he was living in Fairfield(Freestone County) Texas at the time of her birth. I dont have a lot of info about her since my dad died when I was 20 months old and he only spoke briefly about this to my mom, because he usually became too upset. Her adopted family did however keep in touch with my dad's mother for several years, but she refuses to give any information to me. My dad told my mom that an attorney named S. Neal from Fairfield had handled the adoption. I believe her mom was also living in or around Fairfield at the time of her birth, I do not know her name. She was born in or near Fairfield, because my father had related a story to my mom about the day of her birth how he went to the hospital and tried to see her, but the birth mother's family had him taken away, and his parents were called to come get him from the hospital. On my 18th birthday my mom told me about her and I have been at my wits end trying to find her. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Hopefully she is looking also, and we will stumble across each other.
