im looking for any information on fathers side of the family. his surname is Fazchas, although i was informed by my great grand mother that it was changed to that after immigration or somthing like that. orignally it was Fazekas or so im told, and that it was Hungarian. she also mentioned somthing about being "mudja"? not sure about that spelling. also my biological grand mother was Rosalie Fazchas Fry(?spelling?) she gave birth to my father and when she couldnt care for him gave him up and he was adopted by his biological aunt and uncle(Elizabeth*betty* & Francis*frank* Fazchas). The family was from VA, as far as i know and i have no records as to any one else that would know any thing so any info would be helpful.
