I am searching for my birth father. My name is Gary John Schultz I am (11.25.08), 49. My mother's maiden name was Barbara Lomery, she was 24, 5'4" tall, 125 lbs, fair skin, blue eyes, short hair, brunette, pretty. She lived in Onieda New York, I was conceived in February, 1959. My mom tells me my birth father was in the military 21-26 years old, 5'6"-5'8"slight build, light hair, fair complexion. She met him 5-6 times in Vernon New York, after working nights as a waitress at Dibbles Inn and knew him for 5-6 weeks. He knew she was pregnant and gave her pills trying to abort the pregnancy. (All info from my mom.) She left Onieda in June of 1959 and moved to California, I was born in late November, with a twin (sister Geri), 11.25.1959 at UCLA medical center. On the California birth record she originally listed my birth father as G. L. English, then Lomery. My mom now states, " I can not remember who your father is."She had no intention of ever telling anyone. I was adopted in CA by John Earl Schultz an active gay man who married Barbara (now) Schultz. He died at 37 and when I was 12. I was told this was my father for 45 years. I was 45 when my aunt, confirmed by my, mom told me John Earl Schultz was not my real father. I have the best possible wife who knows everything and 3 wonderful children, oldest 14, that know nothing about any of this, but would benefit greatly from an answer and closure.
