The adoption was facilitated by the Louise Wise Agency in 1963. The birth father was unaware at the time of the birth that he fathered a child. The birth mother was estranged from her parents and at least three of her five brothers. I was born in Staten Island Hospital in October 1963. My birthmother was training to be a nurse and might have been surnamed Rubin. I was adopted via New York Co. courts.
