I was adopted in 1962 or 1964 not really sure which date will appear. My birth date is Feb.23, 1962. I was adopted in Detroit, Michigan, by Mr. & Mrs. Ira and Leona Reed. I just found out what my real name was. My given name at birth from my birth parent was Julia Anna Bailey. I am looking for any body in this blood line, whether it be, Mother, father, siblings, cousin or grandparents or anyone that has information about their life. I am 5'2, 249lbs, fair skin, on my birth certificate that became official in Feb.1964 says that my nationality was "Negro". I do believe that I am of another nationality, but not sure what it is. That what I would love to find out. I guess thats when I officially became Qwing Reed. in Feb of 1964. I am 46yr of age now. (06-18-2008). Both of my adopted parents are deceased now. I just lost my adopted brother in June of 2007. So I was able to get into the house and find some legal documents. The only thing I found that was very important to me was the court order changing my name from Julia Anna Bailey to Qwing Reed. So I pray this will be my real start to finding out something about my life. I want to feel complete. I feel somewhat complete because at lest I know my real giving name. I also found out that my mother lost her right to me and she didn't just give me away. I fell better knowing just that little bit. I not going to give my whole life story in this registration. Im just wanting to know more about my blood line so I can pass them onto my 4 children and my 11 grandchildren. Pleas help!! Any information is good information.
