looking for child born between 1941 and 1948 to rosetta grace brown born 1919 queenstown to single mother barbara brown and herbert lester barker born 1919 possibly adopted himself. rosetta and herbert were married 03 jan 1941 and marriage dissolved on 28/09/1948 in order for rosetta to re-marry. both were possibly from timaru but could of been living in christchurch. herbert was once a soldier? but may have lived in fendalton in christchurch and worked as a driver/joiner. apparently herbert left rosetta and she did not know where he had gone hence the marrige being dissloved. the baby may have been adopted out as an older child. would love to here from anyone who thinks they know or are related to these people. |
