I am seraching for my daughter who was born on June 16, 1992 in Lubbock, Texas, and was placed with her adoptive family 3 days later. She was placed through LDS Social Services out of Lubbock, Texas, and I was told that she went to live in Austin, TX. I was told that her name was Laney Jo (not sure of the spelling). It was a closed adoption, so I never knew the names of the adoptive family or ever saw pictures of them. The adoptive father owned a landscaping business. The adoptive mother quit working at a bank to be a stay-at-home mother. The adoptive family was Mormon. I am white, the birth father was Panamanian making Laney Jo a mix. I believe the adoptive mother was part hispanic and part white, and the adoptive father was full hispanic. I know that when Laney Jo was six months old, she was sealed to her adoptive parents in the Dallas, Texas Temple.
