looking for birthparents or siblings. i was adopted through edna gladney in ft. worth texas, tarrent county. my birthday is 10-22-47. i had my adoption package opened by the court, and the information in it was false or done by another member of the family. mothers name is said to be thelma gates, or thelma l. gates. i feel bad that no such person exists. i also know that in 1947, there was great stigma for having a child born out of wedlock, and that sometimes the mother or sister handed the baby over. mother was 24 yrs. father 26 yrs and was in some form of oil business. would like to find any information that i could about either one. my health is not good, and maybe medical information might help. thank you | |||||||||||||||||||||
