I am searching for my birth family. I was born in Brooklyn, Ny on 3-15-1981 at Kings County hospital. I was given to a loving family from 15 days old, who finally were able to adopt me at age 4. I was adopted through the Angel Guardian Adoption Agency which is now known as Mercy First. Details surrounding my adoption would be that my birth mother was between the ages of 12-15, when her mother encouraged her to put me up for adoption. Word is that she wanted to get me back but my birth grandmother would not allow it. There is also speculation that my birth mother went into depression. My birth mother's maiden name was Barnes and my grandmother worked for a company in NY called A & S, but I don't know what type of company is was. I did hear that is went out of business several years later. |
