Biological mother and two brothers. Mother came here from Ireland around 1965-66. Had two son's one in 1966 one in 1967 and gave birth to me, a daughter, Sept. 19, 1968 at St. Vincent's Hospital in NYC. She gave me and my brother, (born in 1967, at 1 year's old), up for adoption in Nov. 1968. We were adopted through the NY Foundling in NYC, to separate families. She may have travelled back to Ireland after Nov., 68. Her last name was possibly McGovern. She had a sister here that was maried. She was one of 8 siblings. Her parents were still in Ireland. Father did not know about my birth. My first brother may have been born in NYC or in the midwest. |
