Birth child - daughter- born in May 1965 in King County, WA. at Catholic Hospital near First Hill (St. Francis Cabrini). Do not remeber exact birth date, but was early in May, the year could have been 1964, 1965, or 1966. Was living at Catholic Girls Home for Unwed Mothers. Unable to locate birth daughter because Washington State adoption records are closed. Did not see baby after going into labor. Doctor visit shortly after birth said baby girl had a serious heart conditioon, and they did not know if she would live. They asked me if I wanted to name the baby, or did I want them to name her. It ended up that the hospital (Catholic Children's Services) named the baby. Have registered at various on-line adoption registries and have been searching with very limited information for many years. The year of her birth is not clear in my memory, and it has been over forty years ago. |
