Birth daughter born 13 April 1967 at Bethany Hospital, Papanui, Christchurch, New Zealand and discharged to the care of her parents on 27 April 1967, adoption finalised in June 1968.
Her parents, British born aged 36 (Mr) and 38 (Mrs), had married in 1958 and lived in New Zealand for 2 years. They had a son aged 3-1/2yrs but were unable to have further natural children. The father was one of 16 children, an advertising agent, 5'9" of slim build with light brown hair, hazel eyes and light olive skin and the mother was an only child, 5'3" of slim build with fair hair, blue-grey eyes and fair skin.
I was a single mother, aged 18, 5'1" with fair hair, blue-grey eyes and fair skin, who, like so many at that time, was unable to offer her the loving home she deserved. I am now living in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. |
