I am searching for my birth father, mother, or birth family/siblings. I am a girl, born July 10, 1971 in New Orleans, Louisiana. My birth mother's name was Billy Sue Stepp,from Missisippi. She married Gary Stepp but I don't know her maiden name. I know she has lived in Pontotoc, Toccopola, and Lafayette. I was also told that I have three half sisters named Chrystal, Brandy, and Marcy. The last information I had is that my birth mother lived in a town called Pontotoc, worked in a family store called "Apples" and she goes by the name Sue? I was told that birth father's name is Richard and was a friend of Sue's brother. I think he may have been known by the name Dick. I was told that my birth father was not told about me. The reason I do not call the store or try to contact people directly is because I was told my birth family does not want to know me. However, I know there must be somebody in my birth family who understands and values the need for a biological connection and who may want to meet me. I also know that there may be someone in my family like my birth father and his family who does not even know about me and hasn't had the opportunity to make the decision to meet me or not. I am a loving, happy, and compassionate person and I am grateful to my birth mother for the unselfish decision that she made to give me to a family who could care for me.
