I am seeking my birth mother who is a Paiute Indian, and at the time of my birth (April 8, 1970)was living on a reservation near Las Vegas. I know that she was approximately 20 years old at the time of my birth, making her birth year 1950 +/- 2-3 years. She apparently was a diabetic and an alcoholic and couldn't or wouldn't reveal the name of my birth father. Her mother, was also diabetic and died from the disease. I believe that I have 2 or 3 older siblings and possible one younger. I was adopted in Clark County, when I was less than a week old. My birth weight was about 8 pounds. My birth certificate has my adoptive parents names on it. I would like to know more about my family, and perhaps make contact with my siblings. I am not particularly interested in meeting my birth mother, other than to establish my identity. My daughter is now 6 years old and I would like to share this information with her as well.
