Searching for my birth mother. I was born in Racine, Wisconsin on March 17, 1964. I was born At St. Luke's Hospital, the attending physician was Elizabeth A. Steffen, M.D. My birth name was Rebecca (last name starts with Ze/Za/Zo). I lived with foster parents in the Racine area until I was 18 months old. Foster parents apparently wanted to adopt me, but could not due to medical and health issues. I was adopted by Gerald and Joan Knapp, we resided in Neenah, WI and the greater Fox Valley Area for all my life. As I have been told since childhood, my mother was not able to speak English and that I was of Hungarian/Yugoslavian descent. My adopted name is Jennifer Knapp-Meyer. I desperately would like to find my birth mother. This is me now in the picture. Wherever my birth mother is she is now a great grandmother of three. Boy 3 Years old and new twins boy and girl almost 3 months old.
