I don't know how to go about this, but, here goes. My grandfather, John O'Brien was born in Boston, Mass, somewhere between 1888 - 1898, not sure of the date. There was a fire & my great-grandparents died and my grandfather, along with several siblings were sent to orphanages. He somehow ended up in New York City and married my grandmother, Rose Bischoff. We were never able to find out much because we were told the records of the orphanage burned and no one knew what happened to the rest of the siblings. My mother and her sisters names were Catherine, Mary, Alice, Martha, Adelaide, Madeline and Eleanor. there was also a son John, who died at age 5.
