My birth father is Charles Setan Smith. I was born on 7/26/50 in Indianapolis, IN and have a brother (Charles Setan) who was born in 1948 and later adopted by his step-father. Our birth mother is Dorothy Castetter- now deceased. I have been told that our father did not know of my birth only my brother. I was adopted out to another family thru a private attorney in Indianapolis. Dorothy had brothers in Indianapolis. Also,she was raised by her grandmother in Indy. I know that my father contacted Dorothy's grandmother I believe in the 1960's for information on my birth brother. Dorothy would have been born around the early 1930's. Apparently, Charles Setan Smith was already married with other children at the time of both of our births. |
