I am searching for information for either of my birth parents. I am a female born January 1, 1982 in Edenton, North Carolina. My adoption was handled by NC Department of Social Services. I was placed into foster care in Manteo, North Carolina shortly after I was born, and then adopted March 1, 1982. I believe that I was called Baby Emily before adoption. I know that my birth mother had another child before me, a boy, and that at the time I was adopted, retained custody of him and raised him. I am interested in knowing any medical history as well as genealogy. I have always wanted to know "what" I am. I believe that I am caucasian, with possible native american heritage.
