I am searching for my birth parents. I was born at Torrance Memorial Hosp. May 21, 1968 @ 10:32am 5 lbs., 9 oz. 18 1/2 in. My birth mother was very petite,drk brwn hair, brown eyes & light olive complextion. Nationality 1/2 German, Czeck & Dutch. She liked most sports and was Catholic. At the time of my birth she had 1 brother & 1 sister. My birth father was 23 yrs old, 5ft. 11in, also brown hair & eyes. His nationality 1/2 Irish, German & Swiss and was born in NY. At the time of my birth he was an account manager with 3 yrs of college. His father died young @ age 52. I was adopted through the County of Los Angeles and have been given only NON IDENTIFYING information. My birth mother requested a Cathlolic family, however a "Direct hospital placement was the top priortity. The circumstances of my adoption were described as very positive; both parents agreed that it would not be wise to marry. My birth mother was described as "warm, verbal, open, honest & intelligent. Although she had graduated high school she felt that it would not be enough to provide for a child as a single parent. Further information describes my natural parents as having "a very meaningful relationship", they had known each other for a long time and were continuing to see each other, however they also both knew they would gradually grow apart after my birth. My natural father is listed as being a very reasponsible, intelligent, handsome caring man. He also planned to pay all of my birth mother's expenses. I have the up-most respect and admiration for my natural parents and the choice they made. They put the needs of their child first above all else. They loved me that much !!
