Birth Son, born 6/7/1967, in New Rochelle Hospital, New Rochelle, New York. Name given at birth was Stephen Lee Smith. The adoption was private; my attorney was George Kettner of New Rochelle. My attending physician was Dr. Selig Neubardt of New Rochelle, New York. Both the adoptive mother, and myself, were patients of Dr. Neubardt who arranged for the private adoption. The adoptive family may have lived in Dobbs Ferry, New York and had another child, or children. My birth son had dark eyes and brown hair at birth; he weighed over 8 lbs. The birth father's name was Ronald J. Taylor, of New Rochelle, New York; currently married and living in Apollo Beach, Florida; wife's name is Susan. Both myself and the birth father were 21 at the time of the baby's birth; the birth father's parent's, Helen & Richard Taylor, would not allow him to marry and offered me funds to have an abortion, in Mexico, which I declined. I took full responsibility for all legal proceedings; I could not keep my birth son as I had no parental, or financial, support; my parents divorced prior to the baby's birth and I became the caretaker of my mother; the birth father joined the Air Force after the baby was born.
