I was adopted through Catholic Community Charities and my birth date is 10/15/1970.
I have basic information on my adoption however, my birth certificate states my adopted name, Ashley Rhodes Theriot. I do have a decree that was found that stated my name was changed from Krista Lynn Scott and was changed to Ashley Rhodes Theriot. I would like to find my birth parents and contact them or have additional information regarding their history and heritage.
I was adopted in East Baton Rouge Parish and believe my biological father may have been named Thomas. The information I was given said that he and my birth mother were not married and had decided to put me up for adoption. When I was born however, my birth father, Thomas kept me and attempted to raise me on his own. He too was adopted and realized in a short time that it was best to place me for adotion. I was then adopted by Gloria and Ernest Robert Theriot through Catholic Community Charities. My birth date is 10/15/1970 |
