I am an adoptee who recently received information pertaining to my birth Mother. She was 28 years old on public assistance. She walked into the hosptial to deliver me at 10:45 and I was delivered at 10:57pm, October 7, 1977. SHe had postpandom issues which had her detained in Bellevue Hopsital. I was never told she ever came to see me until I received information from the NY Foundling stating that she visited me regularly and tried to help herself so may keep me. My birth Name was Linda Dubois and I have a sister who was born in 1971. My Mother described as having reddish brown hair and blue eyes. I have those same traits as well as my daughter, who was born Dec 2008. My mothers' fateher was in the military and her Grandmother was of Irish descent. I was found to have a Chromosone Issue that caused a few complications along the way of having my daughter. That initiated my search. But since I have received this new information that she fought for me, I need to find her. My adoption was finalized December 19, 1978. She was unmarried, possible divorced, at the the time of my birth. Any information would help me greatly. Thank you. |
