My name is Detra, I was born October 2, 1968, in Aberdeen Maryland. I am searching for siblings from my birth father's side of the family. My birth mother was Elizabeth Villalobos at the time of my birth. She had an affair with a married man named Charles that was killed before I was born. The information I have is that he was shot in his restaraunt in Maryland. I have met my birth mother and sisters on her side of the family, but I know nothing of my birth father's heritage, siblings I may have, or even if his family knew about me. I will be 40 this year and have five children of my own. I would like to know some family history not only for myself, but for my own kids. My Mom and Dad who adopted me at age 3 were close friends with my birth mother and were there the night I was born. Arlene and Godfrey (Butch) Holzinger were their names. They pretty much took care of me as an infant and when the time came for Butch to be deployed with the navy, he and my mom, Arlene were offered to adopt me if they wanted to. They did. I was officially adopted in 1972 in Honolulu, Hawaii. (where Butch was stationed at the time). I would like any pieces to this puzzle. Thanks!
