I am trying to find history on my grandmother Maud Theresa Moran born October 1921. I have had some success though in finding out that Maud Therese Smith was baptized on 13 Jan 1924 at Tauranga. She was baptized under the name Maud Theresa Moran born October 1921. Unfortunately for the parents names it only has a Mrs Moran. The Sponsors were Mr and Mrs Smith so we are now sure that this is our Maud. The only other information on the Baptism Certificate is that she was from Auckland but was residing in Te Puke. We are assuming that the Smiths were from Te Puke. The Smiths brought her to Australia in approx 1925/1926.
