I am searching for my birth mother/family. I was born July 19, 1958 in Turin (Turino) Italy, named Giovanni Siveri.I was told that my mother was very young when I was born and gave me up for adoption when she was 15, or so. She would be 65 or so now. She lived with her brother when she had me and he could not afford to support her and me, so she gave me up for adoption when I was 3 months old.I lived in a orphanage in Turin until I left for America on March 9, 1960. I was adopted by an American family, from MN. The adoption was handled through Catholic Social Services. |
