My mother was a sixteen girl from Virginia. Her name was a Montgomery. She stayed with an aunt in Ranger Texas till giving birth to her redheaded baby boy in very late 1947 or very early 1948. (In a letter dated March 1948 she "was ready to come home".) That letter was burned by my mom's sister so I have very little to go by. I do know the adopting mother has red hair also. They lived in Austin, Ft. Wayne or Houston.
I hope someone can help find my brother. He needs to know my mom loved him and grieved for him. She was a good woman- |
